While lockdown means we can’t connect with you in person for now, we’re still staying Connected with our dealers and our full workforce will be on the front line to support you. We’ve made the decision not to furlough any of our Connected family and our established safe-working plan has allowed us to remain open for business and fully operational. During the first lockdown this year, we invested heavily in new technology and equipment and introduced new project management processes into our work lives – making it easier to work together as a team remotely. Even though car showrooms must close, we’re still able to finalise agreements and work with dealers on selling their cars – we encourage all of our dealers to offer home delivery / contactless pickup. Your customers will be able to sign agreements remotely so the used car finance process can go ahead, even during lockdown. If signing documents online isn’t possible for certain customers, we’ll use a more traditional – and tiny bit slower – method: posting the documents. We’re still offering a “remote setup” option for independent used car dealerships across the UK. We can connect you and your customers to a panel of lenders and offer additional dealer support, remotely.
